Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Maintenance Dredging, Entrance Channel, Camden County, Georgia and Nassau County, Florida

The Department of the Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District, intends to solicit a contract for maintenance dredging of the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Entrance Channel, spanning Camden County, Georgia, and Nassau County, Florida. The scope of work involves dredging Cut-1N through Range-E and distributing the excavated material across various designated disposal and placement sites, including the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site and the North Beach Placement Area. Incidental project requirements include environmental, vibration, and water quality monitoring, beach tilling, sea turtle and sturgeon trawling, and optional pre-placement debris removal at Fort Clinch.
