Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Coast Guard, under the Department of Homeland Security, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to ANSYS, Inc. to secure software maintenance services. The contract covers the payment of annual Technical Enhancements and Customer Support fees for two existing perpetual licenses of ModelCenter Premium software. This procurement will provide the agency with continued access to the software, general technical support, and the latest releases required to integrate engineering models and tools into automated workflows. Performance will take place in Curtis Bay, Maryland, and ANSYS, Inc. was identified as the sole provider capable of meeting this requirement since they are the exclusive developer and owner of the software.
