36--GENERATOR,AIRCRAFT,, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is seeking repair and modification services for aircraft generators. The contractor will be required to service 101 units of part number 3261151-0101 under National Stock Number 7R-3655-015238289-H1, with final delivery designated as FOB Origin. Because this item is flight-critical and adequate technical data is not in the government's possession, the acquisition requires Government source approval, and the Navy intends to negotiate with only one pre-approved source under FAR 6.302-1. Unapproved sources must submit a comprehensive source approval request package to be considered for this and future requirements. Responses and proposals must be submitted to Kristin Clemens at kristin.clemens2.civ@us.navy.mil within 45 days of the publication of this presolicitation notice.
