NexGen FOIA Tech Showcase 3.0

The NexGen FOIA Tech Showcase 3.0, a virtual event scheduled for May 12-14, 2026, is being organized by the Chief FOIA Officers Council’s Technology Committee, OGIS, and DOJ OIP. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to identify AI-supported technology solutions for federal agencies to streamline Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) case management and processing, building on previous showcases in 2022 and 2024. The RFI targets federal government FOIA professionals and agency technology support staff, looking for solutions in areas such as FOIA case management systems, AI-supported tools (e.g., eDiscovery, redaction, customer experience), electronic record search tools, and analytics. Vendors are invited to submit 3-5 page written submissions by March 12, 2026, detailing their solutions, including FedRAMP status and federal clients. Selected vendors will be asked to provide video demonstrations and respond to a survey.
