D--OLI Studio, OLI Flowsheet, and OLI Engine

The Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with OLI Systems Inc. for the renewal of the OLI Studio, OLI Flowsheet, and OLI Engine API Software License Lease, along with maintenance and upgrade services for the period from May 23, 2026, to May 22, 2027. This procurement is essential as OLI Systems Inc. is the only known provider capable of delivering the necessary software that simultaneously handles chemistry inputs and models various water treatment processes, ensuring accurate predictions for ion precipitation without requiring user-defined inputs. The renewal will enable NETL to maintain efficient software operations and access historical data critical for their brine separation process.
