Service contract for VersaProbe II (XPS) system
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center is seeking a service contract for the VersaProbe II H system utilized by the Smart Sensing and Electronics System branch at Glenn Research Center. The required scope of work includes one preventative maintenance visit and comprehensive, no-cost repair and replacement coverage for fifty-two specific components and subsystems, including vacuum controllers, power supplies, heaters, pumps, and data acquisition assemblies. Work must be performed by the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized representative to support surface analyses on materials used in silicon carbide integrated circuits and sensors for aerospace applications. The government intends to award a sole-source, one-year contract to Physical Electronics USA, Inc., but will consider capabilities and qualifications submitted to Monica Wilson at monica.d.wilson@nasa.gov by 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on July 15, 2026, to determine if the procurement should be competed.
