The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is soliciting proposals for the procurement of complete heated head window assemblies. Deliverables include the heated head window assemblies, window covers, and window frames manufactured in accordance with designated Kollmorgen and Naval Sea Systems Command drawings. Because these items are designated as special emphasis materials for crucial shipboard systems, the contractor must maintain strict material traceability, quantitative chemical and mechanical certifications, and perform compliance testing such as hydrostatic pressure and thermal shock tests. Only sources with an acceptable Quality Control Manual are eligible for award, and final delivery of all materials is required on or before 365 days after the contract's effective date.
