Service Bruker Nano-Fourier Transform InfraRed Spectroscopy System
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Division, supporting DEVCOM Soldier Center’s Soldier Protection Directorate, intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price contract to Bruker Nano, Inc. for repair and upgrade services for a Bruker nano-Fourier InfraRed Spectroscopy System. The work covers one service visit and includes all parts, travel, and labor to restore nanoscopic infrared sensing functionality through Carmina laser realignment and integrate photon entanglement capability for alternative quantum sensing uses. The system is located in Building 16 at Natick Soldier System Center in Natick, Massachusetts, and the requirement supports nano-FTIR microscopy research and quantum science and technology efforts. This is not a request for proposals, no solicitation is available, and interested parties must email their capability statements and any written questions to Chris Welsh by 12:00 pm EST on 05 June 2026.
