Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force, 56th Contracting Squadron, is soliciting proposals for the Luke Auxiliary Airfield Modernization project in Arizona. The selected contractor will be required to engineer, furnish, install, and test replacements for non-supportable channel banks and install new, direct-bury, single-mode double-armored fiber optic cable to establish reliable IP connectivity for Air Traffic Control data. Work must be completed within 180 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed, and proposals will be evaluated using a Performance Price Tradeoff with Technical Acceptability methodology. This opportunity is set aside 100% for SBA Certified Women-Owned Small Businesses under NAICS code 237130. Questions must be submitted via the RFI Log by July 17, 2026, and electronic proposals are due by July 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM MST to TSgt Laura Negley.
