NOAA’s National Weather Service Southern Region is seeking a Women-Owned Small Business to replace uninterrupted power supply systems at Weather Forecast Offices in Morristown, Tennessee; Nashville, Tennessee; and Atlanta, Georgia. The work includes removing and disposing of the existing UPS units, battery cabinets, batteries, and related debris, then supplying and installing Eaton 93PM UPS systems with lithium battery backup at each site. The scope also calls for remote monitoring devices, all labor and materials, startup and testing, site preparation, and 8 hours of training per site, with the contractor responsible for meeting applicable technical, safety, and security requirements. The solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price contract with performance running from July 1, 2026, through March 24, 2027, and the project is to be completed within 180 days of notice to proceed.
