The Department of Defense, through the Department of the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mech office, is soliciting a ball valve procurement under a total small business set-aside. The requirement is for a 1-inch ball valve built to NAVSHIPS Drawing 711-4556020 Assembly 99B, modified stem, less actuator, with actuator mounting parts bagged and attached to the valve. The work carries extensive technical, quality, and traceability requirements, including hydrostatic testing, source quality assurance, confidential drawing access, and restrictions tied to NOFORN and Naval Nuclear Propulsion information; past performance will be considered in evaluation, and early or incremental delivery is acceptable at no additional cost.
