Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army, on behalf of the Air National Guard 174th Attack Wing, is seeking a Drone Detection Radar System to detect, track, and classify small unmanned aircraft system threats. The contractor must deliver a rapidly deployable, autonomous radar capability that provides wide-area, persistent surveillance, a secure user interface directly to the Base Defense Operations Center, and real-time classification at the sensor. The system must operate independently of cloud connectivity, function in radio frequency-congested environments, and utilize passive or low-emission sensors to avoid electromagnetic interference. Place of performance is in Syracuse, New York, with delivery required by September 30, 2026, and the award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
