The Department of the Navy’s Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility is conducting a sources sought notice to gauge industry interest and capability for fire suppression system inspection and certification services. The work covers annual and five-year servicing, inspection, testing, certification, maintenance, and any approved repairs for the Kidde CO2 Aegis 2.0 fire suppression systems on four 25-ton Kone portal cranes. Performance would occur at the Controlled Industrial Area at PSNS and the Delta Pier at IMF in Washington, under a five-year IDIQ framework, with contractor-furnished personnel, tools, and test equipment and personnel meeting U.S. citizenship, certification, and security access requirements.
