The National Park Service, within the Department of the Interior, is seeking small-business quotes for lumber and hardware materials for the Puuloa Petroglyph Boardwalk at Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. The work covers Douglas Fir decking, framing, joist, and platform lumber, along with 316 stainless steel hardware needed to repair and maintain the boardwalk. Materials must meet specific specifications, including borate and chemical adjuvant coating treatment, grade and surfacing requirements for lumber, and corrosion-resistant performance for the park’s harsh volcanic and marine environment; delivery coordination also includes invasive species inspection procedures. Quotes are due May 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM HT and must be submitted by email to Christie Tapp, with amendment acknowledgement required.
