Cisco Switch Upgrade

The U.S. Court of International Trade requires a two-part project: network switch installation/configuration and Cisco ISE optimization. The first part involves replacing Cisco 3850 switches with new Cisco 9300 models across ten IDF closets, including stacking, cable management, labeling, port diagram creation, and integration into DNA Center and Cisco Catalyst Center. This phase requires configuring various network protocols and providing post-cutover support and knowledge transfer. The second part focuses on optimizing the existing Cisco ISE solution for 802.1x and MAC Authentication Bypass on a wired network with up to 110 endpoints, aiming to enhance security and support a Zero Trust architecture. This includes upgrading the ISE cluster, provisioning certificates, and deploying ISE features in pilot and production environments. Both parts outline detailed phases for project kickoff, requirements gathering, design planning, implementation, and closeout, with specific deliverables and acceptance criteria. The project period for the switch installation is from June 24, 2025, to March 31, 2026, while the ISE optimization is for nine months from the award date. The vendor will provide hardware for the switch installation and all services for both parts.
