Notice of Intent to Sole Source Behavioral Testing Platform Maintenance, Repair, and Upgrade Services
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, on behalf of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense, plans a sole-source firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance, repair, assembly, and upgrade support for approximately fifty proprietary animal behavioral test platforms. The work covers comprehensive engineering and technical services for custom-built systems that include touchscreen or lever assemblies, pellet dispensers, illuminated food cups with microswitches, notebook computers with custom software, and USB I/O interfaces. The platforms must remain interoperable with existing components and continuously operational at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, where timely support is needed to reduce downtime and protect research continuity. This is a notice of intent rather than a solicitation, and interested parties may submit a capabilities statement of up to six pages by email to Nicholas.a.vandevander.civ@health.mil.
