ABAQUS (Simulia) software suite

The Department of Defense, specifically the Army Contracting Command in New Jersey, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of annual software licenses, maintenance, and updates for the ABAQUS (Simulia) software suite. This software is critical for advanced finite element analysis in high-priority Army projects, including weapon system designs and the Extended Range Cannon Artillery (ERCA) Program. The procurement will be conducted as a sole source acquisition from DS Government Solutions, the exclusive provider due to their status as the original manufacturer and distributor, which ensures access to source codes and patent rights.
