The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Philadelphia is seeking to procure gas turbine power units. The contractor must deliver ten commercial, off-the-shelf gas turbine power units, identified under National Stock Number 7R-2835-016997060-P8 and Reference Number 3800702-2, with delivery required on an FOB origin basis. Because these units are designated as Critical Safety Items and flight-critical equipment, the procurement requires government source approval prior to contract award, and the agency intends to negotiate with only one previously approved source. Unapproved sources may submit a proposal alongside the required documentation outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure to be considered for evaluation.
