Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Trash Services - USBP Ajo/Why Arizona
Active
Homeland Security, Department Of
The US Customs and Border Protection, Border Enforcement Contracting Division, intends to award a sole-source contract to Rubbage Control Services LLC for essential trash collection and disposal services in Ajo, Arizona. The notice serves as a formal intent to sole-source the requirement, providing other vendors an opportunity to identify their interest and capabilities. The scope of work involves efficient trash services at two locations: the AJO Station and the Ajo Checkpoint. The services required include regular collections from various containers, ranging from six to 35 gallons, with different frequency options. The contract would span 12 months. The agency has determined that Rubbage Control Services is the only contractor capable of meeting the exact requirements of the Ajo Station, due to their proximity and service suitability. However, interested vendors may still submit their capabilities information to the Contracting Officer, Frank S. Duarte, by email before the deadline. Eligible vendors should possess the necessary experience, resources, and certifications to provide efficient trash collection and disposal services, and must be able to demonstrate their ability to meet the specific requirements outlined. This opportunity is expected to be funded through standard government channels, with the contract type likely being a firm-fixed-price agreement. Vendors should be prepared to submit their proposals by the deadline, with email being the preferred method. The evaluation of submissions will prioritize the vendor's ability to meet the unique requirements and their overall capabilities. For any clarification or further details, interested parties may contact Frank S. Duarte via email at frank.s.duarte@cbp.dhs.gov.
