The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center is seeking proposals to provide Special Test Equipment for the new Aerospace Power Systems Laboratory in Cleveland, Ohio. The contractor will design, fabricate, deliver, install, and validate a custom rectangular vacuum chamber shell, a modular aluminum thermal shroud, and an associated nitrogen-based Thermal Conditioning Unit. The 304 stainless steel chamber must measure 9’x9’x18’ and achieve 5 x 10^-7 Torr, while pressure systems must comply with ASME Code and be fabricated in an ASME-certified facility. The period of performance is 1,380 calendar days from contract award, and proposals are being evaluated using a Highest Technically Rated with a Fair and Reasonable Price process.
