NFPA 101 Life Safety Code Training
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking a qualified contractor to deliver NFPA 101 Life Safety Code Training for department employees. The contractor will be responsible for conducting up to four three-day training classes annually, covering NFPA code development, life safety code structures, and occupancy-specific requirements for detention and correctional facilities. Classes will accommodate up to 30 students and may be held in-person in Aurora, Colorado, or virtually via Microsoft Teams. Instructors must have at least five years of fire protection experience, three years of teaching experience, and current or recent NFPA committee service. Quotes are evaluated based on Technical, Past Performance, and Price factors, with electronic submissions due via email to gbodine@bop.gov by July 24, 2026, at 5:00 pm EST.
