Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office 21, intends to secure preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for critical medical equipment located in the Cath Lab at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. The selected contractor will provide premium service for two MicroPace STIMCOR stimulators and one Boston Scientific FARASTAR system to ensure a 94 percent operational uptime. Work must be performed by fully qualified Field Service Engineers with at least two years of experience, utilizing original equipment manufacturer replacement parts during annual maintenance and unscheduled repairs. The contractor must also provide 24-hour phone support, respond on-site within two business days when needed, and coordinate all activities through the facility's Biomedical Engineering department.
