The U.S. Property and Fiscal Office for South Carolina, under the Department of the Army and Department of Defense, is seeking a firm-fixed-price construction contract to repair and widen taxiways at McEntire Joint National Guard Base near Eastover, South Carolina. The work includes removing substandard concrete and asphalt pavement, installing new base course and concrete pavement, making stormwater drainage improvements, relocating taxiway edge lights and signage, and painting taxi lines for base-assigned and transient aircraft, with optional line items for replacing signs and lights and resealing the Ready Alert Apron. The project must conform to applicable DoD, Air Force, and installation design standards, and it is planned as a two-stage effort with a preconstruction period followed by construction, for a total duration of 365 days after notice to proceed. This is a 100% small business set-aside, with an estimated magnitude of $10 million to $25 million; proposals are due as directed in Box 13 and any amendments, the solicitation is available on SAM.gov, and offerors must be registered in SAM.
