The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District is seeking a contractor for the fabrication, delivery, and on-site assembly of Turbine Maintenance Platforms and associated scaffolding systems at the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam in Burbank, Washington. The scope of work requires the contractor to fabricate turbine maintenance platforms, draft tube access platforms, a personnel hoisting system, blade access scaffolding, and transportation storage carts. To meet technical requirements, the contractor must utilize facilities with certified weld inspectors and welders qualified under AWS D1.1 and D1.2 standards for aluminum and steel fabrication. Deliveries are scheduled between 5 and 19 months after contract award, and personnel requiring site access must undergo mandatory safety training, vehicle inspections, and security pre-screening.
