Joint Project Manager Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Integrated Early Warning (JPM CBRN IEW) Chemical Hazard Detection and Identification Shipboard Systems
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army, on behalf of the Joint Project Manager for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Integration, Information and Early Warning, is seeking information on technologies to detect and identify vapor and aerosol chemical hazards. The required systems must be capable of integrated shipboard installation on US Navy and Coast Guard vessels to serve as a direct replacement for the currently deployed Improved Point Detection System Lifecycle-Replacement. Eligible solutions must have a Technology Readiness Level of 5 or higher and be capable of detecting chemical warfare, non-traditional, and pharmaceutical-based agents while surviving harsh maritime environments and shipboard shock. Interested parties must submit information papers via email to Michael Hughes and Frank Sanchez by September 10, 2026.
