USAF Band Norway Shipment
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The United States Air Force, through the 11th Contracting Squadron, is seeking specialized transportation services for the USAF Band’s shipment of mission-essential equipment to Oslo, Norway and return. The work covers movement of approximately 10 to 15 pallets, including musical instruments, temperature-sensitive and fragile audio/production equipment, luggage, uniforms, and other sensitive cargo. The contractor must provide secure pickup, palletization, climate-controlled and white-glove handling, customs and ATA Carnet support, on-site pallet support, and comprehensive insurance to protect the shipment’s estimated 6,500 pounds and $350,000 value. Performance is tied to movement between Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., and Oslo Spektrum Arena in Oslo, with delivery and return dates set during the August 21 to September 26, 2026 period of performance. Questions were due May 12, 2026, with responses posted on May 14 and a full response scheduled for May 18, 2026.
