The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is seeking to procure gate valves under a federal contract solicitation. The selected contractor must supply the equipment and complete critical manufacturing submittals, including a First Article Test on the gasket only, as specified in the Individual Repair Part Ordering Data. Quality assurance requirements mandate that the contractor perform first article testing on one unit, maintain an approved inspection system, and prohibit the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds. Technical data and mandatory Individual Repair Part Ordering Data documents must be accessed through the BPMI e-commerce website. Quotes must be submitted to the contracting officer, Danny O'Neal, at danny.l.oneal8.civ@us.navy.mil, and pricing must remain valid for 60 days after the closing date.
