The Department of Veterans Affairs, through VA Heartland Network 15 and Network Contracting Office 15, is conducting a sources sought market research effort for battery-operated micro walk-behind floor scrubbers to support Environmental Management Service operations at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. The requirement is for 15 units, along with any associated accessories, training, and support needed for safe and effective use in daily healthcare cleaning. The equipment must meet or exceed brand-name-or-equal performance characteristics comparable to the Nilfisk SC351, including about 100 minutes of runtime, 12V operation, compact dimensions, low noise, and the ability to maneuver in confined areas while cleaning laminate, VCT, and hardwood floors.
