Description

Notice of Intent Quezado detector optode bundles

The Department of Health and Human Services, Department of National Institutes of Health, is planning to procure Quezado detector optode bundles. These bundles are used to obtain hemodynamic data from a sufficient area of the brain. The current inventory of bundles is insufficient for complete coverage of the regions of interest, and additional bundles are required to create a 16 x 16 arrangement for more comprehensive coverage. The procurement will include source drivers, an Avalanche Photodiode (APD) detector card, laser modules, laser source fibers, and detector fibers. These components are necessary for attaching the additional sources and detectors to the NIRScout X Plus chassis and powering the sources. The acquisition will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures, and the contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to NIRx Medical Technologies, LLC.
