Intent to Sole Source/ Notice of Intent

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to A & A Sheet Metal Products (SECURALL) for the procurement of a pre-fabricated storage container. The contractor must deliver and offload one pre-fabricated Agri-Chemical storage container, utilized for the safe storage of tracer paint, onto a pre-existing concrete pad at the Mark Twain National Forest, Salem Ranger District in Salem, Missouri. The required industrial unit must feature a heavy-gauge galvannealed double-wall steel system capable of withstanding winds up to 250 mph and a built-in 12-gauge liquid-tight continuously welded steel sump flooring system to meet EPA and OSHA safety criteria. Sourcing from alternative providers is restricted because the existing concrete foundation was engineered and poured specifically to SECURALL specifications, and utilizing a different manufacturer would require costly physical modifications or demolition.
