The Bureau of Land Management’s Palm Springs Field Office, within the Department of the Interior, intends to make a sole-source purchase of Tablet Command licenses and related access data to support wildfire incident management and real-time information sharing. The work includes one enterprise license and portal setup, incident sharing with cooperators, automatic vehicle location data, GIS map layers, administrator functions for incident checklists and templates, and 25 Pro licenses for mobile devices to use the existing DOI-approved Tablet Command app. The capability is intended to show dispatch-center data and cooperator equipment locations alongside fire-suppression GIS layers to support unified command and field decision-making, and it is being pursued under simplified acquisition procedures with no solicitation currently available.
