The Department of Health and Human Services, on behalf of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, is seeking quotes to acquire a Stopped Flow System and associated components. The contractor must deliver and install an SFM-3000 or equivalent system to characterize rapid molecular events, analyze enzyme kinetics, and determine the kinetics of RNA degradation and multi-protein complex formation. To support the Nucleolar Integrity Group, the instrument must feature high-sensitivity fluorescence and absorbance measurements, precise temperature control from -20°C to 85°C, rapid detection as early as 0.2 milliseconds, and low-volume flow cells.
