Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army’s Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Benning is conducting a small-business sources sought market research effort for fire extinguisher inspection, maintenance, refill/recharge, testing, and related services. The work covers approximately 2,050 fire extinguishers supporting the Maneuver Center of Excellence, including annual inspections, six- and twelve-year maintenance, hydrostatic testing, pickup and delivery, and disposal of unrepairable units. The contractor is expected to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials and comply with requirements tied to NFPA 10, AR 420-1, MCoE Regulation 420-90, access controls, background checks, training, monthly reporting, and work at the designated Fort Benning location, including Fuel Point Building 5422 at Harmony Church.
