Fire Extinguisher Services Amendment 0001
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army’s Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Benning is seeking fire extinguisher maintenance support under a combined synopsis/solicitation for a total small business set-aside BPA requirement. The work covers annual inspection, maintenance and repair, refill/recharge/discharge, disposal, and hydrostatic testing for CO2 and dry chemical extinguishers serving DOTS and Maneuver Center of Excellence training brigades at Fort Benning, with an estimated 2,050 extinguishers per year over a five-year ordering period. The contractor must perform at a single Fort Benning location and meet requirements tied to NFPA-10, AR 420-1, and MCoE Regulation 420-90, while providing the personnel, equipment, transportation, quality control plan, and installation-access compliance needed to support monthly rotating BPA calls; award is planned for two firm-fixed-price BPAs using a lowest-price technically acceptable approach. Proposals are due June 9, 2026, questions are due May 28, 2026, and offerors that already submitted a proposal must acknowledge Amendment 0001 by email confirmation.
