The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Glenn Research Center is seeking design-build services to construct the new Aerospace Power Systems Laboratory in Cleveland, Ohio. The contractor will design, procure, and build an approximately 34,000-square-foot facility to consolidate power systems testing, which includes integrating complex government-furnished test equipment, installing cryogenic and specialty gas systems, and meeting a minimum LEED Silver or two Green Globes sustainability standard. The procurement uses a full and open, two-phase selection process, culminating in a single firm-fixed-price contract with an anticipated period of performance of 1,080 calendar days and a mandatory Project Labor Agreement.
