Local Telephone Services for Hurlburt Field
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron, is seeking local and long-distance telecommunications services to support Hurlburt Field. The selected contractor must provide all personnel, management, labor, tools, facilities, and materials necessary to deliver internet protocol trunking to the Hurlburt Field Call Manager and establish local access to designated circuit demarcation points. Services must operate continuously 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, utilizing transmission equipment and cables that connect to government-provided power and termination frames without the use of aerial cable installations. The contractor is required to ensure compatibility with existing government infrastructure and must adhere to all Federal Communications Commission, Public Utility Commission, and Air Force standards.
