Design Bid Build (DBB) Construction Requirement for Alburg Springs Land Port of Entry (LPOE), Alburg, Vermont
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service is seeking a construction contractor for a design-bid-build repair and alteration project at the Alburg Springs Land Port of Entry in Alburgh, Vermont, with a driveway extension included as a contract option to support CBP and GSA operations. The work includes modernizing the port, correcting deficiencies, and incorporating the existing historic facility, with major elements such as new gates and guardrails, a new officer inspection booth, interior reconfiguration, and upgraded mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and security systems. The project must follow GSA PBS Core Building Standards and the CBP 2023 Land Port of Entry Design Standard, will keep the port fully closed during construction, and is evaluated under a trade-off best-value process that places non-price factors ahead of price. Proposals are due July 6, 2026, and RFIs are due June 22, 2026; proposals are to be submitted by email to Emily Jackson.
