Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force, on behalf of the Headquarters Pacific Air Forces Command Surgeon General’s Office, is seeking a small unmanned aerial system to establish a proof of concept for medical logistics and blood delivery in the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility. The contractor must deliver an autonomous vertical take-off and landing drone capable of carrying up to a 65 kg payload with a 30 km range, along with spare parts, software, and training for up to six personnel. Deliverables must comply with DoD acquisition requirements, including strict foreign procurement restrictions outlined in the FY 2020 and FY 2024 National Defense Authorization Acts.
