The Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, is seeking to procure an automated cell counter for its Liver Diseases Branch to support clinical research involving immune cells from liver disease patients. The contractor must deliver an image-based, automated cell counting system with dual-channel fluorescence and brightfield imaging capabilities to replace manual microscopy. Key technical requirements include the ability to process at least eight samples on a single slide in under 60 seconds, analyze sample volumes as small as 10 microliters, and support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance with a compact footprint of approximately 15 by 10 inches. The system must also include a minimum 12-month manufacturer warranty, with the place of performance located in Bethesda, Maryland.
