Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force, through FA4814 6 CONS PK, is seeking a contractor to provide and deliver graded crushed aggregate base course, including crushed concrete, for Avon Park Air Force Range in Florida. The work covers 16,410 tons of base material with an option for an additional 1,000 tons for Taxiway Hotel and the C-17 Assault strip, with the contractor responsible for labor, materials, transportation, and delivery documentation. The aggregate must meet UFGS 32.11.23, UFC 3-206-02, and AVPAFR design standards, and recycled concrete aggregate is permitted if it is clean, uncontaminated, and meets the specified gradation and test requirements; certified material data, a logistics plan, quality control testing every 2,500 tons, and a safety plan are required. Quotes are due by 9:00 AM EST on May 27, 2026 by email to thomas.grove.1@us.af.mil, and a signed copy of Amendment 3 plus active SAM.gov registration must accompany the submission; delivery is to be completed by July 10, 2026.
