Mixing Valves GIMC

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the procurement, installation, and testing of mixing valves and thermometers for the Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) Building 2000. The project aims to replace existing faulty equipment to ensure optimal temperature control for hot and cold water distribution in critical hospital areas, addressing current inconsistencies that impact patient care and staff working conditions. The objective is to enhance cooling system capacity, ensure consistent temperature control, support energy efficiency, and reduce system downtime. The scope includes sourcing compliant valves and thermometers, installation by GIMC Facility Management, leak testing, and detailed documentation. Specific requirements for both mixing valves (e.g., NPT X NPT connections, cast bronze body, ASSE1017 standards) and thermometers (e.g., +/-1% accuracy, 2” dial diameter, brass stem, NIST-Traceable Certificate not included) are provided. Deliverables include a Procurement Plan within two weeks, delivery of equipment within six weeks, completed installation, and manuals/warranty. The project will be performed at GIMC, 516 East Nizhoni Blvd., Gallup, NM 87301, over three months from the award date.
