W912EK26BA014 - MISSISSIPPI RIVER BASIN LOCK AND DAM 21 QUINCY, IL BOLTED TAINTER GATE FABRICATION

The Department of the Army, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District, is seeking a contractor for the fabrication and delivery of new bolted Tainter gates for Lock and Dam 21 in Quincy, Illinois. The contractor will perform off-site fabrication of Tainter gates measuring approximately 20 feet high by 64 feet long, which are comprised of cold-rolled shapes and welded assemblies. All welded assemblies must comply with AWS D1.1 standards and are designed without fracture-critical members to enhance structural reliability. Bidders are instructed to fill out the provided Schedule of Prices instead of the section B Contract Line Item Number.
