Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Justice, through the Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (UNICOR), is seeking qualified vendors to provide RFID technology services utilizing VIM-ASAP for its nationwide operations. The procurement aims to identify providers with expertise in RFID technology, capable of supplying RFID labels, ribbons, printers, and handheld scanners, as UNICOR requires these services for its 18 factories, with current contracts expiring in April 2026. This initiative is critical for enhancing inventory management and operational efficiency within UNICOR's production of apparel for the Department of Defense.
