Combined Sources Sought Notice and Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract for a Two-Dimensional Liquid Chromatography (LC) Instrument

The Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing a Two-Dimensional Liquid Chromatography instrument and subsequent maintenance. The contractor must deliver a complete system consisting of two binary pumps, a dual split sampler, a column compartment, a variable wavelength UV-Vis detector, an integral fraction collector, and a PC running Chromeleon software. Crucial requirements include two years of maintenance starting after the initial warranty expires, and all components must meet highly specific performance, temperature, and biocompatibility standards.
