The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 is seeking a lease or reagent rental agreement for the Microbiology Department at the Miami VA Medical Center. Under this cost-per-kit/test agreement, the contractor must provide equipment, routine service and maintenance, reagents, and consumables for real-time PCR nucleic acid analysis. The required system must rapidly detect pathogens such as Clostridium difficile, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus, SARS-CoV-2, Flu A&B/RSV, Strep A, and drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Performance will take place in Miami, Florida, for a base year followed by up to four one-year option periods, and participating vendors must be authorized distributors providing a formal letter of authorization.
