Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive confined space identification, evaluation, documentation, signage, training, and standard operating procedure services for the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System in Florida. The selected contractor must independently identify and validate all confined spaces across approximately 30 campus buildings, perform physical entries and OSHA-compliant atmospheric testing, install an estimated 129 OSHA-compliant signs, and conduct two onsite training sessions. This new, one-time, firm-fixed-price contract is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside with a performance period from August 3, 2026, to August 2, 2027, and all core tasks must be completed within 90 days of award. Verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses will receive evaluation credits under the Veterans Involvement factor, and proposals must be submitted to Contract Specialist Lakiesha S. Anderson by the extended deadline of July 27, 2026, at 4:30 PM EDT.
