6550--Notice of Intent to Sole Source - BioMerieux, Inc

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 1, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) intends to award a sole source five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to BioMerieux, Inc. for BioFire Film Array test panels and reagents for their BioFire® FilmArray® Torch System. This BPA will cover equipment, supplies, reagents, network connection, service, maintenance, and parts for producing patient results. The procurement is authorized under FAR 6.302.1-1, citing only one responsible source. The contract period is from August 18, 2026, to August 17, 2031. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325413. This notice is an intent to sole source and not a request for competitive proposals.
