FY27 AFHC Renovate Tower B743 CZ, Camp Zama, Kanagawa, Japan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan Engineer District is issuing a presolicitation for the FY27 AFHC Renovate Tower B743 project at Camp Zama in Kanagawa, Japan. The contractor will perform comprehensive repairs on Building 743, a nine-story, 141,598-square-foot family housing tower, replacing existing failed building systems including the roof, windows, HVAC, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, elevators, and security and communications systems. Work is restricted to local sources physically located and licensed to perform construction in Japan, and interested bidders must possess a Japanese civil construction or architectural construction license. The estimated project magnitude is between 10 billion and 25 billion Japanese Yen, and the procurement will use a prequalification process followed by an Invitation for Bid utilizing sealed bidding procedures.
