The Department of Energy, specifically the Berkeley National Laboratory, is seeking sources for the procurement of two advanced mass spectrometry systems to enhance its Biological Nanostructures and Organic user facilities. The first system required is a hybrid quadrupole/ion mobility/oa-TOF mass spectrometer, which must deliver high-resolution performance with a mass resolution greater than 75,000 FWHM and support various ionization methods, including Desorption Electrospray Ionization (DESI). The second system is a benchtop q-TOF mass spectrometer, designed for high sensitivity and a mass range of m/z 20 to 100,000, both of which will significantly improve research capabilities in biological and organic sciences. Interested vendors can reach out to Jane Graves at JEGraves@lbl.gov or call 630-301-0510 for further details regarding this opportunity.
