RH FAN DUCT

The United States Air Force, specifically the 424th SCMS at Tinker Air Force Base, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for the new manufacture of RH FAN DUCT (NSN: 1560-01-149-6558FL, P/N: 458-58022-528) for the KC-135 platform. This SSS aims to identify potential sources, including all business sizes, to determine if the requirement can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. There is no solicitation available, and no contract will be awarded based on this market research. Interested sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for manufacturing, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, and addressing diminishing manufacturing sources. Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQR) and an Engineering Data List (EDL) are embedded, with specific instructions for requesting engineering drawings. Potential sources must complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package, submitted electronically via DoD SAFE, to become qualified. The government is requesting business information from interested parties to aid in their acquisition strategy. The estimated spares requirement is 1,250 units, with an estimated maximum PR value of $81,602,800.
