Purchase and Installation of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) Tanks

The U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Airgas USA, LLC for the purchase and installation of two liquid oxygen (LOX) tanks at Air Station Kodiak in Alaska. The selected contractor is required to deliver, install, and safely integrate two 1,500-gallon Chart LOX tanks to support the station's specialized cryogenic oxygen requirements. Airgas USA, LLC was selected on a sole-source basis because the vendor has already completed the necessary site surveys, installation assessments, and mobilization planning at the remote Alaska location. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications in writing to primary contact Robbin Kessler at robbin.m.kessler@uscg.mil. All capability statements must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. Alaska Time on September 11, 2026, to be evaluated for potentially competing this procurement.
